....and wringing out my pants after breaking through, if it doesn't get colder. Weather permitting, I'm planning on heading up for New Years and Lake Trout opener. Exact location TBD depending on conditions. Anyone else?

I'm hoping to get a trip in a few weeks from now. Its a smaller lake that I know was frozen over before Thanksgiving so hopefully it holds up

Me and my buddy's are planning on heading up in January for two or three nights. I don't think we'll be able to swing New Year's Day but later in January for sure. It's our first time lake trout fishing. Hopefully we can get into some!
