Spent 4 nights out on Wood Lake. There was 5" of ice in most places. Where you drilled holes you would find water on top of the ice. Caught 25 Northern and 1 walleye. Kept the walleye and 3 pike. Odd for us was that most of the Pike were caught jigging.

It should be noted that another group did find thinner ice and 1 guy put a leg through. We had absolutely no trouble.

3-5" of snow in most places...but it was 34 degrees when we left today.
