I picked up a box but have not tried them. They say that you don't wait for water to boil and no draining required. Add box of pasta to three cups of water in a pan, cook until water is absorbed (10 minutes), add sauce.
Have used it, Daughter worked where it was made and packaged. Not enough improvement over regular boxed pasta to me. I make pasta at camp off the stove anyway, add boiling water to a pot of dry pasta cover and let it sit till done. Really works good in insulated pots. Once you get used to this method you will learn how much water to be wet enough for a dried sauce, cheese/alfredo/tomato, even powdered bouillon. Reheat on stove as needed before serving.
Also, have used freeze dried pasta, which tastes good but is mushy.
Differences in camp food prep may make it viable for other folks, try it. I don't think the cost was prohibitive. Tasted good when I used it, but I thought it took longer (than instructed), to cook to the right texture.

For pasta on a trip, I've begun to use either cous cous or orzo. Both will cook while everything else in the mix rehydrates. I may give this stuff a try for a change of pace.
