I'd mentioned in an earlier post that I'd bought this binder attachment for my sewing machine. Finally tried it today...
The first negative was that it came with the half-round bed broke off with no easy way to repair it. I tried it out anyway to find a couple more bad things. The guide at the end of the bend was too small which made it too difficult for the sewing machine to pull it through... even with the presser foot pressure cranked all the way. Also, and probably because of the binder 'binding' in the attachment, it did not feed evenly so the top was shorter than the bottom.
This item will be going back to the seller and I'll likely search out another to try.

Keep us posted - I am interested in getting one if you find one that works well.

What material did you use for binding?

I used 7/8" gross grain in a 7/8" binder attachment. The guide in the attachment was too narrow for the gross grain to slide through easily. I had to pull hard to get it to slide through.
