I was reading a description of them on the honeyville website. They say one packet equals 12 eggs. Then they say two scoops or 1/4 cups equal one egg. There are 1 1/4 cups in a pouch. Something don't add up for me. Am I missing something?

May be a weight vs volume conversion problem? I have 2oz packages and split a package in 1/2 for "2egg" serving.

No, I have the bigger pack. It says equals a dozen eggs on the pack. Then says to make one egg use two scoops or 1/4 cup. I always thought I was getting a good two eggs with the 1/4 cup I use. The smaller pouch says it's equivalent to five eggs. So I see where you question me.

Ben I meant that the package indicated a weight per serving not volume. I have an open pack be back at ya.

Dug it out and the volume is 2 tablespoons per egg (volume instruction on the bag), 1/8 cup. Weights out at just .46oz or 13g.


The Honeyville volume instruction (1/4 cup), is double the instructions from the package (1/8 cup or 2 tablespoons, Nutriom).
You were getting a good 4 egg portion.

I don't know Ben but when I'm with Ethan I use a half a bag of eggs, a Hungry Jack hash brown, & a package of precooked bacon - no leftovers. I figured that for six eggs but it is on the small side.

That's what I thought. I measure out 1/4 cup figuring it's a good serving and has worked for me. I'm a little mad at myself as in my thinking too much on this I forgot to order more yesterday when it was 20% off. And Kevin... That's a good amount. I eat a lot of them so I portion it out the best I can. About 70 cents per egg if you figure it that way.
