Heading to the Gunflint Trail tomorrow to camp and fish. Just curious if I will be able to skijourn on the lakes. Not worried about ice safety. Wondering if there is enough snow on the ice to ski or if it just all ice like in the Twin Cities.

Thanks for any help.

Dennis

Thanks for the info. I will plan on walking on the lakes with boots and chains and forget about skijouring. The dog will get a break this year and will not have to pull my carcass around.

This time year-I highly recommend taking rain gear.
