i'll be re-canvasing two wood/canvas canoes this summer. harris warehouse is closed, wondering if anyone knows of a good canvas source. also reasonably priced ash gunwales.

Northwest canoe in StPaul can help you with the gunwales. Not sure of a source for the canvas. What wt of canvas should it be?

i've used #10 weight on my peterborough, i'm thinking that because this canoe is so huge that i may use #8 or dacron. stewart river sells it out of two harbors. i'll probably use the precut gunwales from northwest canoe. that saves a lot of work.

For Dacron you could try Aircraft Spruce & Specialty.
