Could everyone that comes across this thread say a prayer for Jan Johnson, aka Kanoes, he's in the arms of the heavenly father, and the prayer just lets him know you're thinking about him.

Been praying for Jan for a long time... Will continue to do so.

I have been thinking of Jan. The chat room is so quiet without him.

His quips on the boards.

Will be praying for him on our trip.

I hear ya MNLindsey...... I was thinking about him a lot during my solo. Also, my dad's health issues continue to cause trouble as he was in the hospital again for a few days right before my trip. I've never had so many moments during a trip when I was down and unmotivated. Which was frustrating because it was such an awesome trip. But at the same time I could feel God lifting me up and getting me through those down moments. The wolf sighting and the 3 moose running by me came at perfect times. And then during those quiet times sitting in my chair in the early morning and then in the evening I really could hear God talking to me. It was very good for me.

This has been a push for me to not worry about the things in life that I can't control.

I'm cherishing every moment with my wife and kids even more than I already did as well as the rest of our families.

Kind of cool, Bwca.com made up a good share at Jan's service today. I think that made Theresa and kids feel pretty good about Jan's internet family.
