Anyone else cry when the North Stars moved to Texas?

Andy,

I'll bite on your thread since I remember you not liking things being off topic in the canoeing/listening point.

I went to over 100 North Stars hockey games as a kid, played college hockey (bench warmer) and remember crying at age 27 when the Stars went to Texas.

I just can't seem to get into the Wild.
Does anyone else feel my pain, or can relate?

May the rivers be crooked and winding, and your portages lonesome, leading to the most amazing view.

Thanks Linden. Living 95 miles from St. Louis I regretted the Stars move to Dallas when they eliminated the Blues from the playoffs in 1999.

And just wait for the multiple OT posts during the MLB playoffs and the start of football season. It will seem that canoe camping is more OT than sports. Oh well, I'm over it. Happy you posted here bro.
