So... our daddy/daughter trip didn't turn out exactly as planned because we left the bwca early because of predicted storms and my daughter having a panic attack the night before. Our last night ended up being in the bunkhouse at Rockwood which gave us a chance to do some hiking near the Gunflint Trail and it also got us on the road earlier for the trip home giving us time to stop at some different places along the North Shore when we normally just hit the road for home. One of those stops was at Black Beach in Silver Bay. Here's the best part of our whole trip................. while my daughter is swimming in Lake Superior she looks at me with a huge smile and says........ "daddy, I'm ready to get baptized and I want to do it here". Now we are working on trying to figure out a way to make that happen for her :)

I get to witness baptisms frequently as our church does them a lot at the beach about 50 yards from my back yard. One morning a few weeks back the youth had a lock in and did a baptism at 5:30 am.
