Anyone have experience paddling these? My son is in NE PA and looking for places closer to him than BWCAW. Have looked at Adirondacks and NFCT out of Old Forge. Suggestions welcome.

PS- Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area? Seems like 3-4 days max.

Try looking at Clarion river from ridgway to hallton, pa. A couple places to overnight in nat forest land. Also some dispersed campsites along the road, good for truck camping. I've heard the PA DNR has closed a bunch of sites on the West Branch, its either state game lands or state forest, no camping allowed. Camped along the Clarion a bunch, easy access and decent fishing.
