Two friends and I were travelling in a MN3 NE through This Man Lake on 8/22 late in the afternoon. I saw a man enjoying the sun at the campsite I had been targeting. The wind was rather strong and we we getting tired, so I took a chance and disturbed his peace to ask about a site further to the SW on the lake. He graciously offered info about the site but then mentioned that it was occupied. He recommended a site about a half mile to the SW. We took his advice and paddled off into the wind. I don't know whether he is a member here (l did not get his name), but we were grateful for his help.
