I can't remember where I saw this..(I think seagull's wenonahs) I saw a label "outfitter edition".
Does this mean there are a few extra bells and whistles on the canoe? Maybe some extra layup? Something a little heavier-duty to take rental abuse?

Thanks!

I do believe Souris River does or did at one time have an outfitter model - but it may have just been a specific set of options available to anyone.

Thanks!

So, are the canoes the outfitters use, the same standard models? Or, is the kevelar done a little thicker, to with stand the abuse.
I guess, what I'm wondering is comparing apples to apples. If I find a MNII on craigslist and an outfitter, are they the same? (assuming same year and same gunwales). Or, are outfitters a little heavier-duty?

Thanks!

Some of them come with keel skid plates on them. Other than that I have not noticed much difference in them.
