Great Report. Thanks for sharing! That area is on my short list of future trips. Especially a visit to Johnson Falls. My daughter and I used Clearwater by accident for a bunkhouse the night before our daddy/daughter trip to Crocodile at the end of July. It was my first time using them and it's a very nice place. When I booked a bunkhouse for Rockwood I accidentally typed Aug 30 instead of July 30 and didn't notice until 10pm the night before we left. Of course they were full when I contacted them in the morning but I was fortunate to find an opening at Clearwater. Luckily I had booked the correct date for the permit:)
