Last year we cold tented, and pulled our gear on a regular kids sled... We are fine doing this again if we must, but thought a more comfortable experience might be fun too.... so wondering if there are any outfitters that rent the stuff?

I see that Piragus rents out of Ely, Stone Harbor out of Gunflint....

We are completely open to location.
- Ely
- Gunflint
- Sawbill
- Arrowhead

We are looking to rent:
- Pulk
- Hot Tent
- Hot Stove

I think we have everything else we'd need?

Thank you Old Finger! I've been on Google Maps calling folks all afternoon, so this is very helpful!

Hard water sports rents in the Twin City area from individual people. I have found them more flexible and easier to deal with than other places.

This thread, or a similar one, should be made a sticky. Many people are starting to get into hot tent winter camping, but can't afford the gear right away. A handy list of where to get the big ticket items for rent would be helpful.

We have rented from Piragis the last few years, they have been great to work with .... the snowtrekker tents are super easy to put up (and lightweight).

Hardwater Sports is located in Sandstone, MN now, so if you want to rent a tent, you have to pick it up there.
