Does anyone have creative and effective ideas for a ski wax table and clamps. Yes, a person can buy new and spend lots of money. Thoughts perhaps you creative types would have used or borrow ideas from others that cost a whole lot less the fancy systems found in ski shops.

You can use these or these and build your own table. I have an extra ski profile, something like this but not adjustable (works best with skis from 185-215cm) that I would part with for not a lot of money (I live in Ely but am through the cities often).

home made bench using dead skis and clamps made from bent coat hangers. it works great for most of my skis.

Sorry for the long delay in responding. Thanks for your offer of the profile. I'm going to keep searching and perhaps try to craft something on my own. Thus far it's been a bummer year for skiing throughout much of the state.

Good year for skiing in the north. Managed a decent ski at Hidden Valley before Thanksgiving and more in early December. Now nearly all the trails are in excellent shape around Ely. Temps have required a certain determination to ski.
