It would appear I can add my 11 year old daughter to my RABC using only her birth certificate. However...I think she needs a passport to come back into the US...TRUE?

I thought your daughter would need a passport. My daughter went on a school trip at 14 to Europe and needed a passport. Apparently this was not needed. I would call someone at the customs up at the border for sure.

I think it's just the birth certificate. I saw it on the RABC like you. I also have taken my son to Canada a few times the last couple of years and in each case the certificate was good as long as younger than 16. I did have my wife write a notarized letter that gave permission for him to be with me abroad......

This is correct info.

Just to confirm, I've taken my young kids twice and just the birth certificate was needed for re-entry. Both times in Ely, stopping in at the customs center near the FS lodge.
