I have used this system on a couple of trips. It does a very efficient job and 2 liters are done before you can finish setting up your tent or eating your lunch. The system is perfect for a hike or a base camp. It is light and doesn't take any baby siting or effort.

I set it up on a tree and just added water with a pot when clean water was running low. It does take a bit of a technique to get the dirty water into the grey bag straight out of the lake but once you have that you will be set. Flowing water in a stream isn't as hard.

If you see comments about it not flowing very well it is most likely the results of not following the directions. It is important to make sure the water is flowing before you plug it into the blue bag.

If you are tired of pumping or don't trust a SteriPEN then this is a very good option. I will buy it again if the need arises.

Used this filtration system several times and love it. Saves time and energy and allows you to have usable water while setting up camp. Easy to back flush if it clogs up a bit.

Overall, easy to use and reliable!

The best way to filter water in canoe country. Simple and reliable. Clean water is no longer a chore.
