Campsite sits up over the river with a great sunrise view. Site has a tricky landing but large tent pad area and very nice fire grate area. Stopped here to rest and bugs were bad when wind was out of the West.

This campsite is a little more north then what appears on the map. It is an amazing site and has about 2-3 good tent spots with lots of hammock areas. 10-11 foot jumping rock to the north of the campsite (with options to jump from 4-6 feet), it's about 9-11 feet deep below the rocks. Don't park your canoe on the rocks in front of the site and climb up, instead, paddle into that little bay to the south and land your canoe on an easy slope. There is a nice rock overhang ledge near the water that the kids declared their 'tornado shelter' on the south side of the campsite near the canoe area. There are blueberries all over this campsite. Plenty of firewood. Fishing wasn't good for July, all we could catch off the site was rockbass. If you paddle up to the rapids and catch supper, note that there is a huge snapping turtle waiting to eat your dinner.

I gave this site four stars based upon its nice view, nice fireplace, available wood, and a couple of level tent sites. The only drawback as far as I am concerned is the landing. It's off to the side and you have to carry your gear from the canoe up a small climb to the campsite. I spent two nights here at the end of a solo.
