Great site, especially for a family. I have this one in mind for future trips when kids are older. Good tent pads, great views, and a great beach. Would be some nice spots for hammocks. We didn't catch anything, but didn't try too much and were coming off a heat wave that wasn't favorable. A good of open, wind exposure to help with bugs as well as some protection from inclement weather.

On a point which is nice. Fire grate area is decent. The tent pad up on the top is basically on a big rock so it you can’t stake your tent down. The beach is nice for swimming but it is shallow far enough out that there isn’t great fishing options from this campsite.

Awesome campsite that fit our large group of nine fairly easily. Great beach landing, cool rocks on the shore that give great views, multiple tent pads / good hammock trees, close to the Jordan cliff straits, and a few big bear bag trees back in the woods. Our group got woken up by a large storm around midnight the night we stayed, probably close to 75mph straight-line winds and consistent thunder barreled across Jordan. We got hit pretty hard, but it seems like we were well protected from the brunt of it. 10/10 would camp again

Great site as listed by everyone else. The beach provided a unique experience that our group enjoyed. Hammock spots with great views. Nice breeze. Chipmunks have clearly been fed…overly friendly but backed off when they gave up on us.

This campsite is as great as everyone says it is. There is a very large sand beach (probably ~75 feet) that makes launching and leisure an absolute pleasure. There are stairs right up from the beach into the campsite. Nice fire area that could be tarped if needed. We counted at least four medium to large sized tent pads, one of which fit a 10-person Coleman tent with ease. Hammock trees are scattered throughout the campsite, some into the woods while others provide great views of the lake. The rock overlook is a great place to watch the sunrise, and the rocks out in front of it are a great place to cast from, as there is a massive wall right off of it. We didn't catch anything during our time at the site, but it was early July and was picturesque weather the entire time. The channels between Jordan and Ima are really cool as well. An awesome area to just paddle through and fish. If you're daring, hike on up to the top of the cliff overhangs and jump off. Its probably ~30 feet up and is definitely deep enough to do it safely. I am killing myself for not taking photos of the campsite or the lake. At least I have my memories...

Heaven. On a point. Great views of the lake. Large site. Lots of tent pads. Lots of good hammock trees. Great fire pit area. Close but secluded thunder mug. Perfect landing area. My son caught his first Northern right in front of camp and it was huge. We should have stayed here for the whole trip.

Beautiful sandy beach landing that has a neat stone staircase that leads up to a spacious elevated site. Lots of room for every purpose here. Plenty of downed wood back behind camp and good shore fishing spots. Not really any good tarp options near the fire grate and there will likely be a good amount of traffic paddling by

What more can I say that hasn't already been said? Great site. Before we left we watched a couple foxes moving about 50 yards or so down the shoreline. Really great spot right by the lake where we were able to set up our mosquito tents and tarp.

Great site, beautiful view, especially the view of all the disappointed paddlers who came by hoping they could get it! Fishing was terrible, however--late ice out was the culprit, we fear.....but this site is gorgeous and very well liked.

Great site! Nice landing, big fire area, room for a big group, some bear activity, but nothing alarming.

The other reviews say it all. Great, large site. Easy landing, many tent pads. Lot's of places to sit and reflect as well as explore. No luck fishing, however. Bet bet is to troll the weeds for northernn near the portage to the west (caught several). Ideal for large groups.

This site has been a favorite to stop at for my group. There are many tent pad openings (I'd say 4 good ones with opportunities for a number of single tents besides. The site at the highest point is mostly a sand pad but the view of the lake from there is second to none. There is an old dead tree leaning to the east that works well for a bear hanging spot. This year I was very dismayed to find some person(s) had been chopping around the base of this tree and weakened it to the point it has developed a large crack. It still worked fine for our food pack but may not last much longer. There isn't another good choice for a bear tree near the site. There are many spots to sit and view the lake, sunrise, evening stars, etc. Fire grate/eating area is decent. Some very large rocks to lay out on/dry clothes on, whatever. The Latrine is close to the camp area.

A huge campsite. lots and lots of tent pads. I didn't see enough room to set up a tent at the beach/landing though. good exposure to keep the bugs at bay, would be a great site for a group of nine with nine solo tents. there was even a trent site along the path to the latrine. and the latrine was also nice in a stand of well spaced young pines.

Best site I ever found in the BWCA. It has a beach that you set up a tent, many areas for small tents, and large tents. There are several elevated tent spots that are incredible. Excellent views of the night Sky
