Camp Notes:
The landing didn't impress me but, I was here during flood stage so, it may be more accommodating in lower/normal water levels. However, I think canoe storage (especially for groups) may be cumbersome regardless. It's a bit of a scramble up to this elevated site. The firegrate area is quite nice but, there isn't much of a view. There are a couple of really nice tent pads and some mature trees in and near camp (currently a rarity for this area.) FYI as some maps aren't entirely clear: site is located on northern bank of river.

Camp Notes:
A decent, small site with room for maybe 2 tents near the fire grate. 10 years after the fire, the site is now ringed by a thick grove of young pines about 10 feet tall. With the thick young growth there is not much view of the water from the fire grate - just enough to notice a couple canoes passing by. New square latrine is WAY back, but a very nice open trail takes you there. Not a destination site, but a decent place to spend the night going down river.

Campsite is now open. completely burned from fire. Lots of new jack pine growing. No shade, but campable.

This is a picture of the site in 2007. Pre/Pagami fire. I have no idea what it looks like now.

Nice site with view of river. It is elevated so your well hid from passing canoes, landing is a little steep but easy slab rock to walk on. Room for 2-3 tents, lots of trees to hang tarps and food bag. Great fireplace location and good seating around fire. Lots of good fishing in the area.
