a bay east of the arms of Welkin, burned in 2006, the new growth burned in spots in the fire this May...

new growth on the forest floor between Aegean and Paull

along the trail paralleling the river.

trails remain obvious...and easy to follow.

a more pleasant Brule early this week: with of course, some good afternoon swells.

early November/2013 at times I do put a life vest on the dogs...

Nov 16/2013, at the landing/open water around the corner: couldn't get to it.

from the island across from the trapper cabin...mouth is choked with wild rice.
