There are campsite ratings for Quetico on that other site with all the maps for planning your trip. It's free to browse and a few bucks to join and chart your course.
It also depends on what you are defining as northern Kawnipi. There are a couple of really excellent sites in the Mckenzie Bay area but it gets tougher to find a site with more than say 2 tent pads as you paddle north towards Montgomery. I found a 2-star site at the point where the Maligne flows out of Kawnipi that suited my purposes as a solo, but you may be looking for something larger?
1RA is a nice site for example (4 tent pads, island site, close to some underwater ridges, etc.). Good luck with your planning. Sounds like a fun trip. Kawnipi does not disappoint!

I am planning a trip into the North end of Kawnipi Lake and plan on fishing the big water up there. Does anyone know of any nice campsites up that way.

Email me at mdallmann19@gmail.com if you want the name of the site where you can read Q campsite ratings. I cannot even mention the name of the site in my reply as Big Brother is watching. For what it is worth, that one cannot even mention another paddling site in a comment here is really quite sad.
