Bill,

I use a Software Program called MemoryMap where I loaded in the Topos and Campsite/portage data.

I am able to zoom in an area and save the image.

Hey! Boji!
That is a nice map, I'm looking for better masps of the area east of Argo and North of Gardner Bay......Elk, Cone,Hurn, Ted, Milt Newt. You have anything on that area?
I posted this over here just to be a little less public.

RIGHT CLICK and Save to desktop and you can zoom in. The PCD sites are listed.

Fantastic! I am in your debt, Thanks! I will look them over and get back to you.
I know you are taking a similar trip later in the summer, do you have any plans on a route in this area?

We paddled through Earl once and found a campsite halfway between J2 and J5. Stayed there for about an hour and finally decided to take a walk up the hill behind camp. Nice view up there. :)"

Hi, BT01. Hope to be there next summer. Would that be the eastern shoreline between J2 and J5? Thx.

Have had the pleasure of staying at that site on Earl in 10/20/09 and again on 10/20/10. Not certain that site J2 and J5 exist, at least at the locations indicated.

Here's the view from the site looking south.

The hike to the top of the ridge is excellent.
