Very accurate lakes and portages for both BWCA and Quetico so it is seamless at the boarder areas. Lake depth lines, fish species for the lake- very nice program. |

We also plan to go to Woodland Caribou this summer, so one chip/software that covers both would be good. -Chris- |

The set up was simple- just follow the directions for identifying the program in MAPS. Portages were all accurate for our trip in Quetico this past week. All the lake depths matched up to our fish finder- really you couldn't ask for a better set up for the Garmin if you want both BWCA and Quetico. I was so relieved and impressed since the Garmin programs were so useless looking and SO much more expensive! |

Hopefully Butthead will see this thread and chime in, I believe he has used Garmin with Topo. another possibility is TopoFusion, Google it. Some things about it are Better at less price IMO, and there is a freeware version you can check out. Keep in mind all the various products base their maps on the same Canadian maps which you yourself can get for free. |
