I'm off to my wilderness adventure. 9 days 95 miles including a stop to Hoare Lake. All I can say is that I've been training for 4 months, I'm going solo, and my total pack weight is less that 70# for two packs. My cedarstrip Merlin is my vehicle.

I'm getting a tow across Lac LaCroix to McAree Lake. Then I head east through Delahey and north to Hoare. After that I head East towards Kahshipawi then south into whatever direction I decide and eventually end up at Wood Lake in the Bdub. I hope to be back on the 16th or 17th.

Gawd I hope I make it :)

Congratulations on getting ready for the trip through your conditioning and the thought that went into efficient packing. Best wishes. Let us know how it goes!

Have an epic journey! I have this down as part of a September trip, so I will be interested to hear about your experiences. Don't forget to leave a note for the Hoare Lake cache.
