I paddled through Williams Lake a few years ago, and really like the looks of the lake. The PCD does not show any campsites and it was late in the day, so we did not have time to explore. Does anyone know if there are any campsites on the lake?
(Williams Lake by Payne Lake, not William Lake by Conmee)

Very small island in the south end couple of tent sites. Had a fire grate that looked like an oven. NIce little lake. Camp would be great for a couple of people for sure. Very little used.

I don't know what it is about Williams Lake but it gives me an eerie feeling each time I have paddled through it. Never camped there and doubt I ever will. It is the only lake I get that feeling from.
