In the Spring, you could paddle much of the creek that flows into the No-name just west of Isabella. I know of someone taking that creek all the way down from Yum Yum. I think it'd be a fun and muddy trip in there via the creek, as it splits and also drains said lake.
That lake's been on my radar for years and I'd make bet it's a trout lake. Maybe walleye too, but most surrounding lakes are trout lakes.
Ariel views on Bing map make the creek look paddle-worthy even in the Fall, and show several good looking reefs in the lake.
I had no problem paddling a few hundred yards up that creek many years ago. Good luck.

Very interesting. A couple of possible routes.

I posted this thread elsewhere on this site but thought I might get some info here. (I don't know of a way to move a thread.)
quote JackpineJim: "Just curious, has anyone fished the horseshoe shaped lake southwest of Yum Yum and northeast of Side??
Jackpine Horseshoe shaped lake with no name "

Interesting looking lake, but off the main route into or out of Kahshahpiwi. I bet there's fish in there, but it would require a pretty tough bushwack to find out.
