I am wondering if there is a Canadian version of weather radio that can be picked up in Wabakimi. Is there a station and if so does a standard weather radio pick it up?

No.. weather radio station list

CBOL out of Armstrong is a CBC AM repeater station but I don't think you will pick it up. Its a low power station.

It really pays to understand clouds and weather patterns in Wabakimi.. Winds shifting to east mean rain.. Look for a wind shift after it stops raining. The next day will be windy.
