I recently got an email from Uncle Phil stating that the first volume of maps are available. Has anyone ordered or seen the new maps? Thoughts/impressions? Do any retailers have them? Thanks,

have seen the beta copies. very professional job by barry simon. combined with the section sheets or maps from other sources, it's all you need to travel the area covered in the first volumn. order through the web site.
portage info gives you both ends and length, but nothing else. can't take all the fun out of it.

Saw them at Canoecopia and got an order form while there. You can also print off a order form from the wabakimi.com project site.
