I think we need to see the "in action" video before we can pick a winner.

Nice work.

I picked up two of the exact same sleds and set them up for winter camping too. Mine are not set up quite as heavy duty as yours but I think they'll hold up OK. We got them out for a winter trip to the Porkies (staying in a cabin a mile in) and they worked alright. The only problem we had is there was so little snow that it was all packed down hard on the trail. And the sleds, having no grooves on the bottom would slide sideways down any inclines we had to traverse. This would not be a problem in deeper snow, but I may look at adding some kind of small fins to the back to help fight the sideways slipping.

Can't pick a winner, must try in the wilderness first.....

One recommendation is to add an arrest rope to the back of your pulks. We both got run over by our homemade toboggans last year.

Enjoyed your video!!!

We are both putting aluminum piping around our pull ropes, we just didn't have them on for this video."

Do you have a picture or a place you could direct me to so I can consider this idea?

I saw some of those sleds at Menards this week and thought of making a pull out of one as well.
Best line of the clip "The shit really does work"!"

Big Haus all the way! I loved the colorful flashing lights from your Stereo, which added to the presentation... I thought Matt's aero design was risky, in that he could impale himself. but as long as he gets the ridged pulling system he should be ok...

+1 on the rigid pulling system!

"Butt Wipe" may want to add some small diameter pvc pipes to his pulling ropes to keep the back of that sled from impaling his leg on a downward slope!

Loved the video!
