Hey just ran into this, I see your post is from July but I'm planning a solo archery hunt last week of Oct off echo trail. Plan on spiking in about 6 to 8 miles. Never hunted the area before but plenty of big woods experience around the country. Do you rifle hunt off echo trail? I'm from WI. Always looking for big woods. I went up there this spring saw enough deer sign too keep my interest in hunt I guess.

Make sure you spike to the south as 6-8 miles north of the Echo will put you in Ontario:)

How far is the border? By map it appears to be all of that

The area i'm looking at north of echo is well over 6 miles, pocket lake just south of lac la croix, straight line 11 miles
