We were there last weekend. Most the lake is wind blown snow - lots of alternating hard pack and dunes, some deep. There was a small slush pocket near the point just NE of the landing. The narrows had a huge and deep (more than a foot of water) slush pocket that we found the hard way... If you go out that way use caution - the only way we found through was bushwacking the shoreline.

Keep in mind that was Saturday the 11th... on such a big windblown lake things can change fast for the better or worse. Not sure if they received any more significant snow or not, that could make big difference too.

Anyone been on Clearwater recently and can comment on conditions. I am heading up that way Friday.

Thanks.
