I'm interested in a trip where we have to snowshoe or cross-country ski a long way to get to a remote cabin. I've done some searching on this website (and others), and I see a lot of remote cabins you drive to and then snowshoe once you get there, but I haven't found any where you have to do some significant hiking to actually get to the cabin. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! -Ben |

I feel the reason most cabins are not too far from a road is due to the fact a lot of the cabins have the wood provided for you. So the people supplying it don't really care for a long way in with it. A lot of places supply it due to the fact they don't want the users of the cabins cutting trees down for firewood. |
