Kicking around the idea of skiing from Grand Portage-Crane Lake this January (or vice versa, doesn't really matter to me). Sticking point is a shuttle. Wondering if anyone on the forum would have any ideas/contacts to help out. Would, of course, make it worthwhile for the driver. I would be willing to pick up the driver in my car in Ely or Crane Lake and drive to the start so we'd only be taking one vehicle. Thinking of starting Jan 20, 2015. Two week trip or thereabouts. Any ideas?
