1.Insulate yourself from the ground and the outside air. 2.If it's going to snow then a tarp or a bivy sack with a type of head cover is handy. 3.Have a means of slipping on and off your boots easily or some type of camp slippers for night time trips to relieve yourself. 4.A place for the clothes, boots and gear you won't wear while sleeping. 5.Cover for your boots so snow won't get inside while you sleep (there always seems to be snow, blown snow or frost that get inside). |
