Came out yesterday. Sawbill, Smoke, Burnt and Flame all have 0-2 inches of snow on them, generally firm except for where it's been blown into drifts. Great travel conditions. Portages have more snow but enough traffic has been through that you can walk the portages in boots.

We were just on the Gunflint, and same conditions there too!

Over in Ely - we were there the weekend before Presidents Day, and we found there to be a TON more snow in Ely. 12 inches of snow on the ice in Ely in some spots.
