Adrift – A man & a woman sail from Polynesia to San Diego and get caught in a hurricane, again at least one has to survive to write the book. There is also a movie which I suggest watching first if you are going to do both. Both are nice diversions in January. |

I want to mention one more I loved in this genre. It's the true tale of a family of 6 who sailed the world in a Catamaran. It's very well told by the wife. Black Wave |
