just getting into this book, at October 30. so far, i can't imagine paddling or poling up the waterway in late sept/early oct!

Great book. I've also read "Northern Nurse" by his wife that is equally interesting. He teaches in Labrador, while his wife is a nurse to the locals and those way out in the bush.
