well, i'm 1/2 way through 90 degrees north and am amazed with each new chapter of the perseverance (and idiocy) of the men back in those days.. i won't say more in case anyone else plans to read the book. the two that are next after this are The Ice Master by Jennifer Niven (the doomed 1913 voyage of The Karluk) and Shackelton's voyage to the antarctic.
1/2 way through the Book of Mormon, and haven't started A Wonderful Country yet. that will be my April book when spring should be happening.

Just finished the Neil Young book. Interesting but kinda disjointed. I like his music better

Shackelton's account is good. So matter of fact telling of such dire circumstances.

Where did you buy it? I can't find it on amazon or any of the other online booksellers' websites, even though it's a 2012 book.
