Another welcome and confirmation it is a great site. I joined to gather information for a trip in 2012 and have been here regularly since. While I found the web site to offer great info and lots of personal sharing, a visit to the fall wing night the next year set the hook. Watching the children and families interacting and the camaraderie around the fire and sharing of great food demonstrated this is a community. Watch for postings for wing events and bring your flock.

Naw, this is a terrible resource. All you'll want to do is sign in twenty times a day and check out the latest. None of us have jobs anymore because we never got any work done because of this site. Broke because we have to buy the latest trend.....
Haha, yes... Many of us even experienced have gained so much from others here. Welcome... Look forward to your contributions... Great site!

Well, I don't check in quite 20 times a day, and I do still have a job, but yes, it can become an addiction. Or just a habit so you stay well informed. Depends on your point of view. And as it is now winter you may find some subjects have very little to do with BW.

Welcome to the site!

Welcome! Glad to see another gal on the site. You might also check the women's section. Look on the bottom of your screen for a list of the other groups and select the ones where you have interest. If you are located in the Twin cities metro, there is a group of us women who get together a few times each year to share info. and questions.

The help and answers I have gotten here is almost invaluble. I would have made many/more mistakes if not for this forum, getting my gear together and planning my trip.
