I did it in 2016 from Alice to Thomas. There were good landings at both ends, fairly good trail with some boardwalk, not too much elevation change. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as difficulty. There are several pics here starting with the 38th pic.

I was on it in October 2018 and it was a decent portage, though it did have a couple of very wet sections on it. It was deep enough I had to pull my hippies up to mid thigh. They were not muddy just clear water with skim ice on them. Here are a couple pictures. I must say though that it was a pretty wet fall. There was a boardwalk over the Alice end water if I remember right but nothing on the first section of water coming from Thomas.

Well, there are some hills if I recall but not a goat portage. Kinda pretty... good landings on both ends and yes some wet spots. Better landing on Thomas... the paddle from the main part of Alice is a place I love paddling. The campsite on it is small but nice.

Can anyone tell me anything about the portage between Alice and Thomas Lakes.

The last time I did it, was 38 years ago....so fuzzy memory , but long, flat, and some mud comes to mind.
