Schweady, you found a typo! That is this year's schedule you've linked to.

Ozarkpaddler- we'll get you up to the expo one of these days.
You probably don't remember it, but I'm pretty sure we did meet once. My wife and I were out on a day trip paddling through Snipe lake and I noticed your Courier, since I had just bought one from a guy in Duluth. I think the other people in your group were in the Langford the Ted and Barb rented for a while? Anyways, I asked you about the Courier as I was excited to pick mine up, and later figured out it was probably you based on you listing it for sale here. But, It would be great to meet again!

Sounds like a wonderful excuse to head up to the Gunflint Trail.

Thanks, Quinn. What time do things wrap up on Sunday? Soon after the last formal presentation?.. so, around 2:30?

We will be coming up on that Sunday to car camp at Judge CR Magney once again for our annual outing of SHT/BRT day hikes. Though Magney is already a 5.5 hour drive from home, one of these years we will get back in the car and drive that additional hour up the Trail. We just might need to switch to a Friday start one of these years...

The Expo officially ends at 2:30, when the last presentation ends. Because the last presentation is Cliff, and because he knows that there is no one coming up after him, I'd say the odds of him being done by 2:30 are pretty low.

Heheheh, talk about a SMALL WORLD (LOL); I had no idea! Love Ted and Barb, have known them since the late '80's when they lived on the island. Wish we could see them every year! Back then I had resigned myself to an imminent death and thought it was my last trip? But here I still am, avoiding the grim reaper thanks to my creator! This look familiar?

The 2019 BWCA Expo will be held June 8-9th at Bearskin lodge on the Gunflint Trail. It should be a fun time with great speakers, interesting gear and good friends. The complete presentation schedule is up on the website, as well as an ever growing list of exhibitors. I hope to see some of you there!

Yep, that was definitely you we talked to. A composite courier sure is a beautiful boat.

One of these days I hope I can make it for the Expo, but probably not this year? If anyone here hasn't been up the Gunflint, well here's another great reason to go! Never have met Quinn, but from multiple emails over the years I can vouch for the fact that he's a wonderful guy and the Gunflint Trail's best ambassador!

There is a link to the Schedule of Events, but I wonder if these events are for 2019 as it still says 'SATURDAY JUNE 9TH' on the site which was last year's date.
