WhiteWolf has it with Malberg! It was the smallest group I have gone to the BWCA with. It was a duo trip with me Wife and I. Loved it. We single portaged the entire trip and came in from Kawaishi Lake. A few of t hose portages were killer but Malberg was worth it. We saw our first bear. Fishing was really good and the site was extremely nice. Woke up to a dense fog one morning so I went for a solo paddle and enjoyed the serenity. We found a ton of blueberries and raspberries. YUM! Waiting for the day to do another duo trip or even a solo seems like it is going to be awhile.

Well I really wanted to post a picture of Ella Hall did that my first trip in BWCA with a loop. The 4+ mile portage was a killer. However, I could not find a picture which was good or reasonable where you could distinguish the lake so I picked this one. My favorite campsite I have stayed at and we have had a few great ones.

Sorry PrettyPaddler, I have never been to those sand beaches. I think the plan is to go there next year from lake one.
