May 2005. We just paddled through and had a snack at the campsite. From what I remember the water was clear but had an off-green tint to it. We didn't fish that I recall.

Another hint. Only campsite in the whole BWCA where they explicitly called out that this latrine was for #1 only. Never did figure out where #2 was supposed to go.


Hint: Maybe it is because I have heard that some maps don't show the campsite. But my 1983 Fisher F31 has it as does the one without the 1. Everyone clear or nearly so?

Ok, we are almost there. This is my only other pic from this campsite. Looking north. There are only 2 portages into this lake and 1 campsite, although like I mentioned before some maps apparently don't show it.

Kekekabic. Funny about numbered latrines. If u know the pattern u can figure out which site you are at on a lake/map.
