Sometimes you just have to get somewhere...

Wow. We had one jump into the water next to our site one time. Not sure how far up it was when it dove but the splash was loud! Wish we had seen that part. We did get to see it swim by and spent the rest of the day watching it in a nearby marsh.

My goodness! Had no idea that actually happened! Unfortunately, the BWCA.com logo with this flying moose doesn't have quite the same grace. :D

5.0 for style and grace... 9.0 for cool video factor!

Wow, that is a sweet video. Not very graceful divers though, kinda like me. Glad he made it.

Cool video, I always knew they were real.

I see a potential copy infringement with Alces Alces/Moose and the BWCA.com for the un-authorized use of the flying Moose :-)

Adam, are you trying to tell us that some flying mooses are NOT real??

Paddling down Pickerel we suprised a large otter who was way up on a small cliff foraging around. He must have panicked and just wanted to get back to water ASAP, so he dove off the 20 foot cliff and his entry point was about 10 feet from the canoe. A more graceful dive than the moose......like a torpedo....hardly a ripple. I gave him a 9.9
