And I imagine it was both ways.
Reviews are always great amusement. I recall a review on another paddling website a few years back. The guy was reviewing a 16 ft tandem canoe (which I also owned). His main complaint was when he paddled solo from the stern seat that the canoe was very tippy and unstable. Couldn't recommend it to anyone.

Side note I looked up the boundary water reviews and there are only good comments for it :)

I like the one, ‘nature is crap’. Some seem legit. I’m not eating lambs eye or any disgusting organs either. I’m not overly picky, but I draw the line the line somewhere. Some people had a bad experience. It happens. Bad juju, whatever. Some people are unhappy, miserable. Beating cancer cured me of any of that. Works like a charm.
Cheers, scat

bad apples can spoil a barrel, this group is more a barrel of laughs and no bad apple would have a chance. reviews like that would help me eliminate any chance of tripping together.

You have to really be bored to spend money being entertained in Branson, Missouri. Total waste of money, time, and energy.
Branson reminds me of the first & only time I played a slot machine. Ran through 50 bucks real quick; then thought to myself, "That was stupid", because it was.

I agree. I drove from Meeker Colorado to Oak Creek on Forest Service roads back in the 70s. Not one McDonald's, it was miserable.

I remember years ago when a telemarketer called about booking a vacation in Branson, MO. My response was, "I would't get out of the electric chair to go to Branson!" At least he laughed."
I sure get that. We drive through that area to get down to WhiteRock mountain in Arkansas. With all the billboards, I wonder if that is why they call it the 'show me state.'

My dream of paddling a northern Canadian river has been shattered! There are no snack bars.

No snack bar. No hot dog. No hamburger. Please add your own reply.

Everglades NP was kind of a bust for my wife and I. Went on an airboat ride for about an hour, which was fun. The airboat stopped once to feed about 20-30 raccoons, who knew that when a boat stops there, it is chow time. A couple of them jumped on the boat. Nasty buggers, and very demanding.
Other than that, I can find wet, swampy places in a lot of other places. Glad I went . . . ONCE.

I have a recurring nightmare of the lakes i love being developed. That would be my Hell. But for some folks, a lake without a hot dog stand is their Hell.

I can remember when Branson was a sleepy little town that made it's living catering to fisherman.
