I haven't fished it for a couple of years. However I have family members that go in there a few times a year. Lake trout have been hard to come by. Walleye fishing has been very good at the crack of dawn and sunset. That might have changed with the weather cooling off. If you go with a motor be careful of the rocks.

Duboly Lonnie is a good guy and will fill you in on were the rocks are. If you have a map he will mark the map for you. Maybe if your lucky he might give some fishing tips.

Has anybody been catching lake trout in Trout Lake lately? Season ends September 30th.

I'm going to head in there this weekend and give it a try. We will watch out for the rocks lurking underneath the surface.
