Very nice, AB. It's always nice to have folks show appreciation for work done behind the scenes to make everyone's trip better. Enjoy that saw! And the smoked salmon! Yum!

Congratulations! Very nice of them to appreciate your efforts. I have used a sven saw for the last 25 years and it is pretty well worn out. I picked up a cheap folder saw for this last trip as a back up and used it more than the sven. I am loking at the silky big boy and I will more than likely be picking one up this winter. I think they chose their gifts for you well!

Following an eight day trip, today I received a very unexpected surprise thank you in the mail from three friends from the west coast. I planned, organized food, and outfitted the trip (we had to rent one canoe, I'm so ashamed). All were experience outdoors individuals, one I have been tripping with off and on for forty-five years, and another I had taken with his wife about ten years ago.

Long story short, I am the proud owner of a new Big Boy Silky Saw, logs they were tackling were a challenge for my old trust Sven Saw. As an added bonus there was some delicious smoked Sitka Salmon to boot. Lots of work, fun and camaraderie; PRICELESS.

Always nice when people show that much appreciation. Sounds like in your case well deserved!

Very nice. Is that saw really that much better than the sven saw? I need to upgrade a lot of my stuff. I haven't bought anything new in almost 10 years.
