Mine are rolled with rubber band around roll and then I stand them up in one of those Christmas popcorn tins. Sits on the corner of my desk in the man cave.

Nothing special here. All my maps are folded in 4ths in a huge pile.

Most are folded and stored in a plastic bin because we fold them for trips.

This is the product I have. There are cheaper cardboard options and other manufactures as well.

I have a few rolled up and in a tube. Most are folded like I bought them and in a clear plastic tote. It ain't rocket science. :)
Second shelf down on the left. You can see some of the maps that I have in tubes. The map tote is the clear one to the right of the one with the red kneelers on top.

Home made? Nice and tidy interior. Been a while since I have done my own."
Yes, been making my own since my Tandy 100TX, around 30 years. Thanks, but the photo is several versions old. I believe a Win95 system.

Makenzie and Fisher maps are folded into sixths in a way that leaves the map number and description exposed, then stored flat in sequence in a small file drawer. Voyager maps are stored in sequence in another drawer , folded as purchased.

I like to call my storage system 'the stack'. Hmmm..better check the stack to see if I have this years trip covered! Need to add to the stack...going to the Gunflint!

I have probably 30 maps, many are quite old, and many are redundant. They live in a pile in the basement. I have to get myself one of those rubber-bandy things.

Does any one have a nifty way that they store their maps, not on a trip but at home. I have maps that are folded, some are rolled, need to figure some way to organize them.

Most are in my map case. Folded. And under my bed. A few smaller ones are in a plastic container with lid among other smaller BW related items.

x3 or 4 on this. For the folded ones anyway. The rolled ones are still rolled and sit with the Tupperware or some fit in it too

All folded in every which way, then stored in a tupperware container.

It would be cool if I could find a used blueprint drawer set.

At home, I usually have one laid across my desk. Others are just tossed into a pile in my camping storage area in some form.
On trips... Shoved in my pocket. Tied around my neck/head. Tied to my dog.
I'm serious. I use True North Maps from now on, and this is commonly what I do with them.

Mine are just folded like they were in a map case and stored in a folder.

Rolled with the name on top, and outside (sometimes I have to write the name in the right place). Then I put them in a 2 foot high by 8 inch round basket.

I've kept them unfolded in my flat file cabinet in the past, but now they are in a folder that I made out of two sheets of corrugated plastic and stored in under the mattress in my travel trailer.
